Cute Baby Chick Standing in Profile Facing Right

A round little chick stands in side view, facing right, with a small pointed beak and one big solid black eye with a tiny white highlight. The body is a smooth, plump shape with a slightly raised tail bump on the left and a curved line across the middle that marks the wing. A short swirl on the wing gives it a little feathery detail. Only one foot is drawn, a wide flat shape at the bottom, so the chick looks like it is taking a step. The outlines are thick and clean, which makes this page easy for small hands to color inside. Try soft yellow for the body and orange for the beak and foot, then leave the eye highlight white. It is a nice printable for preschoolers who are practicing staying inside the lines, or for a spring lesson about animals that hatch from eggs.
