Trotting Pony Wearing a Garland of Flowers

A smiling cartoon pony trots to the left with one front leg lifted. It has a big round eye, a small nostril, a spiky mane, and a swishy tail with a few wavy lines on it. A garland of round, five-petal flowers is draped across its neck and shoulder, and one more flower floats above its back near the tail. The hooves have simple bands at the bottom, and the shapes are large and clean, so little hands can color them without much trouble. Try a different color for each flower in the garland and use that to practice naming colors or making patterns, like pink, yellow, pink, yellow. The wavy tail lines are fun to trace with a crayon before filling in the rest. This free printable works well for preschool and kindergarten art time.
