Guitar-Strumming Ghost on a Rock

Coloring guide
Rosy cheeks, big round eyes and a smile: this little ghost sits on a large rock strumming a small acoustic guitar while four music notes float overhead. It has a rounded head, a wavy scalloped hem and tiny arms holding the neck and body of the guitar. Around the rock are three flowers with round centers, tufts of grass and leafy plants, with two fluffy bushes behind. Clear, bold outlines and generous open spaces are easy for young kids, and the guitar frets and flower petals give older children some small details to work on. An orange-brown guitar looks warm, and bright pink and yellow flowers add cheer. A free printable for music lessons, rainy afternoons or a quiet moment at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rock: fill the big stone shape with light gray, leaving a few thin white streaks for shine.
- 2Color the guitar body and neck with honey tan, then fill the guitar bridge with dark brown.
- 3Fill the bushes, grass tufts and leaves with grass green and leaf green, keeping the blades bright and simple.
- 4Color the flower petals with golden yellow and coral pink, and fill the flower centers with tangerine orange.
- 5Paint the music notes with sky blue and tangerine orange, and add a coral pink tongue inside the open mouth.
- 6Optional: Keep the ghost, its eyes and the eye shines white, and add a little darker shading under the rock to make it pop.
