A little puppy sits facing forward, and almost everything about it is built from hearts. The big floppy ears meet at the top of the head and fall down over the sides of the face. Two round black eyes with small white highlights peek out from under them, and a heart-shaped nose sits in the middle of the muzzle. The chubby body is a large heart turned upside down, with a small pointed collar or bib shape under the chin. On the left, a small heart-shaped tail curls up from the back. The lines are thick and the spaces are roomy, so it works well for younger kids. Try a shapes activity first: ask your child to find every heart in the picture and count them, then color each heart a different shade.
