Cute Kitten Hanging From a Leafy Tree Branch

A smiling kitten peeks over a thick tree branch, gripping the top with both front paws while its back legs dangle below. One back foot kicks out to the side and the little tail curls up behind. The kitten has big round eyes, a small nose, whiskers, and pointed ears, with a fluffy patch of fur on its belly. Leaves grow at the top left, at the end of the branch on the right, and near the bottom of the trunk. The bark has lots of wavy lines, which gives kids plenty of texture to work with. Try browns and tans for the branch, then pick two or three greens for the leaves so each one looks a little different. This free printable is also a fun way to talk about how cats climb and balance. Ask your child what the kitten might be looking at.
