Mermaid Kitty Peeking Through Big Round Glasses

A small kitten sits front and center wearing oversized round glasses that nearly cover its whole face. Behind the lenses are two big shiny eyes with sparkly highlights and curled lashes, plus a tiny nose and open smiling mouth. Pointy cat ears poke up on top, and a swirly, layered hairstyle curves over the head in rainbow-like stripes. Instead of a normal back end, the kitty has a mermaid tail with a scale pattern and a fin that curls out to the left. The front paws are short and chubby with little toe marks. The scales are a fun spot for practice with small details, so try alternating two or three shades of blue and green for each one. Metallic pencils or gel pens would also look great on the tail. The big open areas of the glasses and hair suit crayons or markers for younger kids.
