Ice Skating Penguin Beanie Boos Page in a Striped Scarf

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• charcoal gray
• cherry red
• sky blue
• golden yellow
• pale steel blue
• medium gray
• soft pink

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big penguin head, flippers, and back in charcoal gray, leaving the white face mask and round belly untouched.
2. 2Color the scarf's red stripes and the red skate boots in cherry red, leaving the white stripes in between uncolored.
3. 3Fill the beak and both legs with golden yellow, then add a soft pink tongue inside the open mouth.
4. 4Add the snowdrifts and snowflakes in sky blue, and color the skate blades in pale steel blue, leaving the snow caps white.
5. 5Use medium gray on the shadowy scarf tail and the middle parts of the scarf for contrast.
6. 6Optional: Add a little extra shading with a darker tone along the edges of the head and body to make the penguin look rounder.
