Cute Smiling Bee With Round Wings and Antennae

A friendly little bee faces forward with a big round head, two small dot eyes, and a curved smile. A wavy line across the top of the head marks off a cap-like patch. Two thin antennae curl up from the head, each ending in a small circle. The oval body has two curved stripes across it, and four large rounded wings sit behind it, two on each side. Everything is drawn with thick, smooth outlines and big open spaces, so it works well for small hands and chunky crayons. Try coloring the body stripes in yellow and black, then let kids pick a different color for each wing to practice staying inside the lines. This free printable also makes a nice springtime or insect-unit activity at home or in the classroom.
