Surprised Little Owl Floating Beside a Crescent Moon

A round little owl with big curious eyes and an open beak floats next to a large crescent moon. Its head has a small curled tuft on top, and one wing is raised out to the side while the other rests against its body. Two tiny feet peek out at the bottom. Five stars of different sizes are scattered around the page, one in the top left corner, one near the moon, and three on the lower right. The thick outlines and large open spaces make this easy for younger kids to color inside. Try giving the owl soft brown and cream feathers and the moon a pale yellow, then let children pick a different color for each star. It also works well for a bedtime or nighttime theme at home or in the classroom.
