Daddy Pig Carrying an Old Desktop Computer

Daddy Pig walks to the right with a chunky desktop computer held in his arms. The old-style monitor has a big blank screen and three little vent lines on its side, and it sits on top of a flat computer case with a drive slot and a round button. He wears a small sailor-style cap with an anchor on the front, and you can see his wide smile, round cheek circle and a few short whisker lines on his face. His round belly, thin legs, black shoes and curly tail are all drawn in simple bold outlines, with a gray oval shadow under his feet. The large open areas are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try coloring the screen like a favorite cartoon or game, then talk about how computers have changed over the years. The printable page also works well for a quick technology-themed activity at home or in class.
