Daddy Pig Relaxing with a Newspaper, Peppa Pig Printable
Coloring guide
Daddy Pig has sunk into a comfy armchair with a big open newspaper, round glasses on and a happy, contented smile. Look closely for his stubbly chin lines, the round cheek circle and two little ears sticking up behind his head. Five framed pictures hang on the wall above him, each with its own abstract design: shapes and triangles, a little village, a guitar, and two colorful modern-art style scenes. The newspaper is full of tiny text lines and square photo boxes, so there are plenty of small details to work on. A warm red or deep green armchair would look cozy, with soft pink for Daddy Pig and bright blue frames so he stands out. The free PDF prints easily at home for a classroom project or a weekend craft. This fits right in with our Peppa Pig coloring pages — see also Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: color the wall above and behind the pig pale yellow, and fill the floor and table area at the bottom left and right with sky blue.
- 2Color the daddy pig's shirt teal and the armchair soft purple, including the seat, back, and arm, leaving the pants soft purple too.
- 3Fill the pig's face, ears, and snout light pink, then add a rose pink dot on the cheek for blush.
- 4Color the picture frames golden yellow, then fill the pictures with sky blue, grass green, bright blue, navy blue, and a bit of red for the hat.
- 5Color the newspaper's photo boxes silver gray and leave the printed lines and the page itself light gray, keeping the glasses lenses and the white highlight in the right picture white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the armchair and shirt with a deeper tone of the same color for depth.
