Dalmatian Puppy Peeking Over Easter Egg Basket

A spotted puppy sits behind a big woven basket and leans over it with wide eyes and an open mouth, as if surprised by what is inside. The puppy has one solid black floppy ear, a few black spots on its head, back and tail, and a neckerchief around its neck. The basket is full of decorated eggs with wavy lines, zigzag edges and small oval patterns, and it sits on tufts of grass. A large bow with long ribbon tails is tied to the handle. Try coloring each egg in a different pastel pattern and talk about which shapes repeat on them. The wide basket weave also gives little hands good practice with careful, small sections. This printable page works well for spring crafts or a quiet Easter activity.
