Front-Facing Deer Head With Branching Antlers to Detail

Front-Facing Deer Head With Branching Antlers to Detail coloring page

Coloring guide

A deer head is drawn in a simple front-facing outline, with two large antlers spreading up and out on both sides. Each antler has several long tines, and a few small enclosed shapes sit between the branches, which make nice little spots for detail. The ears point out to the sides, and the neck runs down to a rounded snout at the bottom of the page. There are no eyes, nose, or background, so the whole head is one big open space. Kids could color the face in warm browns and then use a different shade for each antler tine to practice staying inside narrow lines. It also works well for a printable craft, since the plain shape is easy to cut out and decorate with patterns, glitter, or tissue paper. Thick crayons work for the head, while pencils suit the antler tips.
