Dog I Spy Search and Count Activity Page coloring page

Coloring guide

A big square grid is packed with small outlined dog pictures under a banner that reads I SPY dogs. You will find dog faces with floppy ears, pointy ears, and wrinkly pug-style muzzles, plus sitting dogs, a sleeping dog with ZZ letters, and a few standing dogs. Between them are bones, paw prints, round balls, food bowls, dog food bags, pet carriers, and a couple of collars and leashes. Along the bottom is a key with a small picture and a number next to it, so kids can hunt for each item and count how many they find. Try circling each item type with a different colored pencil as you count, then color the dogs in real breed colors. It is a nice quiet activity for practicing counting, matching, and careful looking, and you can print extra copies for a classroom or rainy day.
