Dora and Diego Racing Down a Winding Leafy Path

Dora and Diego run side by side along a winding path, both mid-stride with big open-mouthed smiles. Dora has her bob haircut with straight bangs, a short-sleeved shirt, shorts, a beaded bracelet, and ruffled socks with sturdy shoes. Diego has spiky hair, a watch on his wrist, a vest with a round emblem on the chest, a strap across his body, and cargo-style shorts with boots. Around them are tufts of grass, several flowers with rounded petals, large veined leaves in the top right and bottom left corners, and two flat stumps along the path. Try coloring the flowers in different bright shades and the leaves in a few greens, then ask kids to describe what they think the two are racing toward. The large open areas are easy for younger children to fill in with crayons.
