Duck Peeking Over Grass Numbers 1 to 15 Dot to Dot

A cartoon bird with a big round eye and a long open beak looks upward, standing beside tall blades of grass at the bottom of the page. Part of the head, beak, and curved neck is already drawn, while the rest of the picture is waiting to be revealed. Fifteen numbered dots are scattered around it, with a few near the grass and beak and the rest floating across the top. Kids count from 1 to 15 and connect them to finish the outline. This free printable is a good number-order warm-up for preschool and kindergarten. Once the dots are joined, try yellow or orange for the beak, green shades for the grass, and a bright color for the bird's body. You could also ask children to guess what the finished picture will be before they draw the last line.
