Ducklings and a Peeking Bunny with Easter Eggs

Three fluffy ducklings march in a happy line past a pond, each with a big smile, round eyes and tiny wings tucked at its sides. A little bunny peeks over a rounded rock behind them, showing only its long ears, face and paws. Tall cattails and grass fill the upper left, and small flowers dot the meadow. Three decorated Easter eggs rest in the bottom left corner: one with polka dots, one with zigzag stripes and one covered in little flowers. Over on the right, lily pads float on the water next to a blooming water lily. The ducklings have large open shapes while the eggs have small patterns, so different ages can enjoy it. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the three ducklings' bodies and heads with lemon yellow, leaving the eye whites and teeth unpainted.
- 2Color the ducklings' beaks and feet with tangerine, and make the left beak bright orange.
- 3Paint the ground and background grass with khaki and lime green, adding forest green to the darker grass tufts.
- 4Color the bunny and the rock mound with caramel and light gray, then fill the bunny's inner ears with soft pink.
- 5Paint the Easter eggs: rose pink zigzag egg, sky blue zigzag egg, lilac polka dot egg, golden yellow striped egg with tangerine stripes, and leave the small flower centers white.
- 6Finish the cattails in chocolate brown, the lily pads in lime green, the lotus flowers in rose pink, and the water around them in sky blue. Optional: add a little darker shading under the ducklings and eggs with the same colors.
