Easter Bunny Winnie the Pooh Carrying a Basket of Eggs

Pooh has dressed up as an Easter bunny for this happy page. His snug hooded suit has two tall floppy ears with little stitched lines on them. He strolls along smiling, one arm stretched out to the side and the other holding a woven basket packed with decorated eggs. The eggs are covered in dots, stripes and patterns, and a bit of grass pokes out next to the basket. More small tufts of grass are drawn around his feet. Look closely at the suit and you'll spot a snap collar and a zipper line down the front, which means lots of tiny spaces for little hands to fill. Soft lilac or sky blue would look sweet on the bunny suit, and bright pinks, yellows and greens will make the eggs stand out against the basket. No sign-up is needed to download the free PDF. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big bunny-suit areas: color the head, both arms, ears and legs in tan brown, leaving Pooh's face white.
- 2Fill the jacket body, side panels, and collar in bright blue, keeping the little highlight spots on the collar white.
- 3Color the basket weave and handles in tan brown, then add the eggs: lemon yellow, sky blue, lavender purple, cherry red and bright blue.
- 4Paint the inner ears in baby pink and give the fluffy white tail tuft a clean white base.
- 5Color the zipper tag soft gold, then add the teeth and small egg shine spots in white.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker tan strokes on the ears and legs and a touch of extra blue on the jacket folds for depth.
