Starry Easter Egg Covered in Big and Small Stars

Coloring guide
A single large egg fills the page, outlined in a thick, bold line, with outlined five-point stars scattered across its surface. Two big stars sit side by side in the lower middle, a third big star near the bottom is cut off by the egg's edge, and smaller stars fill the upper half. A few stars on the sides and top are only partly visible where they run past the curve of the shell. The stars are left empty, so there is plenty of room for crayons, markers, or colored pencils. Try coloring the big stars in warm shades and the little ones in cool shades, or give kids a pattern challenge by alternating colors from large to small. It also works well as a size comparison activity for younger children, who can count the big stars, then the small ones. This printable page is simple enough for beginners to finish in one sitting.
