Easter Egg With Big and Small Polka Dots

Coloring guide
A single large egg fills the page, outlined in a thick, smooth line, with a bunch of round circles scattered across its surface. One big circle sits near the middle, and several medium and small ones surround it. A few of the dots run into the edge of the egg, so they look cut off, including ones at the top, the right side, and the bottom corners. The inside of every dot is left blank, and so is the space around them, which gives kids plenty of room to work. Try coloring the dots in one set of colors and the background of the egg in another, so the pattern stands out. It also works well for a size talk with younger kids: ask them to find the biggest dot, the smallest dot, and count how many are cut off by the edge. This printable page is easy to hand out at an Easter table or classroom station.
