Easter Egg With Zigzag Bands and Striped Bottom

Easter Egg With Zigzag Bands and Striped Bottom coloring page

Coloring guide

A single large egg fills the page, decorated in two main sections. The top half has three zigzag bands stacked one above the other, with small round dots scattered between the peaks, plus a little curved cap shape right at the tip. A curved line cuts across the middle, and below it the lower half is split by thick vertical stripes. Between those stripes, thin diagonal lines angle in a leaf-like, herringbone pattern. The bold outline and open shapes make it easy for younger kids to stay inside the lines, while the many small sections give older kids plenty of detail. Try coloring each zigzag band in a different shade, then use two alternating colors for the herringbone sections below. This free printable also works well for a pattern lesson, since children can point out which shapes repeat and which change.
