Elephant and Fox Cub Football Game Coloring Page
Coloring guide
A large cartoon elephant and a little fox cub are playing football together on this page. The elephant leans forward with his mouth open in surprise, reaching out to tag the fox. He has a helmet with a face guard, a striped jersey, padded pants, striped socks and cleats. The fox cub runs with a big smile and hugs the football to his chest. His helmet fits over his pointy ears, and his bushy tail has a pale tip. Small tufts of grass cover the field, and a few rounded bushes sit in the background. You could go with a bright blue uniform for the elephant, orange for the fox and a brown football. The bold lines work well with crayons, markers or colored pencils, and the page suits sports fans, playtime or a classroom activity. Love this NFL / Football coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big elephant ears and the elephant face using light gray for the head and rose pink for the inner ears, leaving the eye whites and the mouth white.
- 2Color the elephant's helmet, jersey, shorts and socks in royal blue, leaving the white stripes on the helmet, jersey and shorts white.
- 3Fill the fox cub's face and body with orange, its tail and muzzle with cream, and its helmet and jersey sleeves in red, keeping the white helmet stripes and pants white.
- 4Color the football in chocolate brown and the elephant's hands and arm in dark gray and light gray so they stand out from the jersey.
- 5Add the grass green bushes in the background, then color the shoes in charcoal black and the fox cub's socks and helmet details in red and orange.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the underside of the elephant's trunk and the fox's tail to give the drawing more depth.
