Elf Sitting on a Shelf With Books and Tree

An elf with a pointed hat and a fluffy pom-pom sits on the edge of a wall shelf, legs dangling and crossed at the ankles, hands resting on the board beside him. He looks up and to the side with a small smile. His collar has big zigzag points. To his left stands a little decorated Christmas tree with a star on top and round ornaments, and on his right two thick books lean together, one marked with a square symbol. A striped round ornament lies at the far end of the shelf, and the shelf brackets show underneath. Try coloring the elf's outfit in two bold shades so the collar stands out, then give each book a different cover color. The large ornament shapes on the tree are easy for younger kids to fill in, and this page is free to print for a holiday table activity.
