Celebrating American Football Player with Confetti and Stars
Coloring guide
Legs wide apart and both fists in the air, a smiling young player celebrates what looks like a big win. He wears a face-mask helmet, a short-sleeved jersey with striped shoulder pads, knee pads, striped socks and cleats. A football with little motion lines around it sits on the ground in front of him. Stars and strips of confetti float behind him, and a field line and a goalpost-style block appear in the background on the right. Big shapes on the helmet, jersey and ball are easy for small hands to fill in. Let your child pick team colors for the helmet and jersey, then add bright yellow and orange to the stars. Print this free page for a screen-free activity at home. Add this to your American Football coloring page collection, alongside NHL / Hockey and Tennis.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- royal blue
- light peach
- light gray
- brown
- grass green
- charcoal black
- orange
- golden yellow
- bright blue
- coral pink
- pale blue
- red
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the skin areas: color the face, both hands, arms, and cheeks with light peach, leaving the eye whites, teeth, and the white helmet stripes and face mask untouched.
- 2Fill the helmet sides, jersey, sleeves, knee pads, and both socks with royal blue, then add pale blue shading on the left sleeve and the ear guard.
- 3Color the football brown and the shoes charcoal black, with slate blue on the heels and the football's white stripes left white.
- 4Fill the goal post with orange, the hair with brown, and the open mouth with coral pink, keeping the teeth white.
- 5Color the three stars golden yellow, then add confetti pieces in red, grass green, sky blue, royal blue, and bronze. Fill the grass areas with grass green and the sidelines with light gray.
- 6Optional: add darker shading on the edges of the jersey and helmet with a deeper blue, to give the picture more depth.
