Superhero Girl Rescues Kitten, DC Super Hero Girls Style
Coloring guide
A young superhero girl with long flowing hair flies through the air and lifts a smiling kitten off a leafy tree branch. She has goggles pushed up on her head, a cape, a shield emblem on her chest, a belt with a round buckle, and tall boots. Near the top right corner of the tree sits a small bird's nest full of eggs. Down below, a little village spreads out with rooftops, a church steeple, and a winding road, all ringed by bushy treetops. Puffy clouds drift across the sky. This free printable gives little hands big areas to color and older kids fine leaf details to work on. A bright red cape and a kitten with warm orange stripes will help the rescue stand out against all the green leaves. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky: color the small clouds and the bigger cloud near the bottom in sky blue, leaving the background sky white.
- 2Fill the superhero's suit in bright blue, then color her cape, boots, and the cape tip in bright red.
- 3Color her hair golden yellow and her face skin peach, leaving the eye whites and the smile highlights white.
- 4Paint the kitten in light orange, with its tail, ears, and paws in the same shade, and leave the small highlights on its face white.
- 5Add leaf green to the tree leaves and bushes, lime green to the grassy hills, and color the village roofs in coral and bright red, keeping the tree trunk white.
- 6Finish with the golden goggles, the brown nest, and the small details like the belt buckle; the ground and the village houses can be left light for a soft look.
