Caped Girl Over the Rooftops, DC Super Hero Girls Page
Coloring guide
A curly-haired girl flies across the sky with one fist up high and a big open-mouthed smile, her cape trailing behind. She has a short-sleeved top, a flared skirt, a belt with a star buckle, and tall boots with cuffs at the top. Puffy clouds surround her, and two little houses with chimneys and square windows peek up from the bottom corners. Simple, bold outlines and roomy shapes make this a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still building pencil and crayon control. A bright red cape with a yellow star on the belt works well, and you could add a soft blue sky and pastel roofs below. Print the free PDF at home for a classroom project or weekend craft. This fits right in with our DC Super Hero Girls coloring pages — see also Teen Titans Go! and Harley Quinn.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky shapes: color the fluffy clouds and the small cloud behind the rooftops with sky blue, leaving the tiny highlights white.
- 2Fill the face, ears, neck, and raised arm with skin peach, then add the eyes and open smile, keeping the eye shines and the tiny tooth area white.
- 3Color the curly hair in chestnut brown, including the top, sides, and curls, and the rooftops and house walls in bright red and orange for a cozy neighborhood look.
- 4Paint the dress in bright blue and the belt and star buckle in golden yellow, then add the boots in bright red with golden yellow cuffs.
- 5Color the flowing cape in bright red, then fill the window panes with sky blue and the chimneys and bushes in gray and grass green.
- 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade along the cape folds and the dress to make the drawing look more dimensional.
