Football Balanced on a Kicking Tee with Cloud

This page shows one oversized football standing upright on a kicking tee, like it's waiting for the opening kick. Bold laces run down the middle of the ball, and curved stripes near both ends give you extra sections to fill in. Little tufts of grass sit around the tee, and a single puffy cloud drifts in the upper right corner. Everything is drawn large with thick outlines, so preschoolers and early elementary kids still working on pencil control should manage it comfortably. Warm brown works nicely for the ball, with the laces and stripes left white or colored in a team color. Add green grass and a pale blue cloud to finish. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the large left and right sides of the football and its top and bottom tips with warm brown, leaving the curved white stripes and the laces alone.
- 2Fill the kicking tee at the bottom, including its rim, with sky blue.
- 3Keep the two curved stripes across the middle and top of the football white.
- 4Leave the lace bars and the thin center line running down the ball white so they stand out.
- 5Optional: add light diagonal strokes in warm brown across the ball to give it a textured, leathery look.
