Four Butterflies and a Flower Mandala for Adult Coloring
Coloring guide
Four smiling butterflies gather around a blooming flower in this symmetrical, mandala-style page. Each one has curled antennae, a striped body, and wings filled with circles, dots and rounded patterns. A daisy-like flower with a ring at its center sits in the middle, and four veined leaves fit in between the butterflies. Large layered petals frame everything in an oval. Kids will like the thick lines and roomy spaces, while the repeating pattern gives older children and adults something calming to work through. You could give every butterfly its own color set, like pink, orange, purple and blue, and keep the leaves green with a sunny yellow flower center. It's a free printable for a quiet afternoon at home or a calm moment in class. This page is part of our Adult Coloring coloring pages collection — check out Love and Color by Number (Adult) too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big outer petals in lavender purple, coloring the top, sides and bottom petals of the mandala.
- 2Fill the inner ring of petals and the large flower petals in soft pink and rose pink, alternating them so the design looks balanced.
- 3Color the green background areas between the petals and the leaves in light green and leaf green, leaving the leaf veins as uncolored lines.
- 4Paint the four butterflies: use sky blue for the outer wings, pale blue and periwinkle for the inner wing sections, and lilac for the small inner wing shapes.
- 5Finish with the flower center in golden yellow, then add optional shading with a slightly darker shade of each color for a little depth.
