Four LEGO-style ninjas stand shoulder to shoulder in battle-ready poses, each with a different weapon. The one on the left lifts a big curved blade with jagged, serrated edges. Next to him, a second ninja holds a long straight sword high over his head. The third swings a tall staff diagonally across the page. On the right, the last ninja rests a chunky hammer-style weapon on his shoulder and holds a pointed blade low in front of him. All four have hooded masks with a small emblem on the forehead, scowling eyes, shoulder armor and wrapped belts. No background, so the characters take the spotlight. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green areas: color the arms, legs, hands and heads of all four ninjas with lime green, and leave the eye whites and background white.
- 2Fill the tunics and sashes with golden yellow, including the first ninja's tunic, the scarves, the belts and the third ninja's sash.
- 3Add the sky blue pants on the first ninja, fire red on the second ninja's headband and red leg wrap, and bright orange on the third ninja's hat and tunic.
- 4Color the purple headband on the fourth ninja with royal purple, then fill the weapon handles and the staff with caramel brown and the sword blades with medium gray and light gray.
- 5Optional: Add a few darker touches like dark brown on the fourth ninja's sash and dark olive on the second ninja's visor for depth, and leave small white shine spots on the helmets.
