Meet Frenchie Fries, a grinning carton of fries from Num Noms, with her name hand-lettered underneath. The carton is wide and rounded, with big shiny eyes, little lashes and a tiny oval nose. Chunky square-cut fries stick out of the top in all different sizes, and a loopy ribbon bow sits right in the middle of the pile. Bold lines and large shapes make the fries easy for younger kids, and older kids can shade the flat sides of each one. Golden yellow works well for the fries and bright red or pink for the carton. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the whole carton at the bottom with bright red, using smooth, even strokes and leaving the edges neat.
- 2Color the tips of the fries, the flat top faces that catch the light, with lemon yellow.
- 3Fill the rest of the fries, including the tall ones in the middle and the ones behind the bow, with golden yellow.
- 4Color the bow bright red, keeping a few thin white gaps between the loops so they stand out.
- 5Finish with black eyes and a small black nose, leaving the tiny white shine dots white. Optional: add a few light strokes of golden yellow along the edges of the fries for depth.
