Freckled Egg-Shaped Monster With Horns and Fangs

A tall, egg-shaped monster stands facing forward with two curved horns on top of its head. It has big round eyes with shiny white highlights, a small oval nose, and a wide open smile showing two pointed fangs. Little groups of freckle dots sit on each cheek. The arms hang down at its sides and end in tiny claws with three or four fingers, and the long legs finish in jagged, ragged feet. A curved line near the hips suggests where the body meets the legs. The large open body is easy to fill in, which makes it a good pick for younger kids. Try coloring the monster in a surprising shade like teal or orange, then use a second color for the horns, claws, and feet so the details pop. This printable page is also fun for talking about silly versus scary.
