Welcoming Skeleton Waving From a Crooked Cottage Door

In the open wooden door of a crooked little cottage stands a smiling skeleton, one hand up in a wave and the other resting on the door. Above him are a round window, a shingled roof and a brick chimney, and a big cratered moon hangs in the sky. A lantern is beside the doorway, and a birdhouse dangles from a leafy tree branch where a small bird is perched. A stepping-stone path leads up through flowers, bushes and a pumpkin, with a picket fence and pine trees behind. Big shapes mixed with small leaf and petal details suit kids who like a longer coloring session. Warm yellow for the lantern and moon, and soft purples and greens for the garden, would look lovely.
