Fuzzy Striped Monster Waving While Holding a Book

A big furry monster with long, floppy arms and legs leans forward with one hand raised in a friendly wave. His wide open mouth shows a few teeth, and his heavy-lidded eyes and bushy brows give him a sleepy, laid-back look. Under his other arm he holds a square book with a small picture on the cover. His shaggy fur has jagged edges, and both legs and the arm holding the book are marked with bands of fur that make great sections for color. Try a bold two-color pattern for the stripes, like purple and teal, and leave the book cover bright so it stands out. This free printable also works well for a back-to-school activity, since kids can add a title to the book cover and talk about their favorite stories.
