Top Hat Magic Show with Garfield and Odie
Coloring guide
Wearing a magician's tailcoat and bow tie, Garfield grins as he lifts Odie's floppy ear while the dog pops out of a top hat. Odie's tongue is hanging out and his eyes are wide and happy, so the trick must be going well. The hat sits on a small draped table with little round tassels along the edge, resting on a tripod stand, and tall curtain lines in the background make it look like a stage. Garfield's stripes, big smile and large paws offer lots to color, and the wide open spaces on the hat and curtains are easy for younger kids. Deep purple for the bow tie and hat band goes nicely with bright orange stripes. Print this free page and add it to your pile. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring Garfield's face, forehead, ears, and both feet with tangerine orange, leaving the big eyes and the teeth white.
- 2Color Odie's cheeks and face with butter yellow, then fill his ears with chocolate brown and his tail with caramel brown.
- 3Fill the top hat with charcoal gray, its brim edges included, and paint the stool seat violet purple with a cherry red band around the hat.
- 4Color Garfield's tuxedo jacket and sleeves charcoal gray, the trousers with black, and the bow tie and cummerbund with cherry red. Leave the white shirt front untouched.
- 5Add coral pink to Odie's tongue and Garfield's pink nose, then color the tall curtains and their bases sky blue.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker lines in black or charcoal gray along the jacket folds and under the chin to add depth.
