Nose to Nose Football With Garfield and Odie
Coloring guide
Here Garfield and Odie square up nose to nose, both squinting with tough game faces. Garfield kneels on one side in a jersey with the number 1 on the front and a football helmet held against his knee. Odie leans in from the right in a baseball-style cap, a collared shirt and a whistle on a cord around his neck, so he seems to be the coach. A football with visible laces sits on the ground between them, with a few simple shadows under the characters. Bold, clean lines and big open areas on the jerseys, helmet and football work well for younger kids, with lots of room for crayons or markers. Pick your favorite team colors for Garfield's jersey and helmet, then a contrasting shade for Odie's cap. Save it as a free PDF. Fans of Garfield coloring pages often like Kitten and Pusheen as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with Garfield's blue jersey, sleeve, and helmet in sky blue, leaving the jersey number one and the collar white.
- 2Fill Odie's body, head, neck, and long ear in light gray, keeping his face, chin, and cheek white.
- 3Color Garfield's ears and Odie's ear tips and inner ears with pale pink, then add bright red to Odie's shirt and legs.
- 4Color the football in chocolate brown, leaving the laces and the stripe across it white.
- 5Use near black for Garfield's stripes, tail, and back shading, and add cherry red to his dark nose area and coral orange to Odie's nose.
- 6Optional: Add light pencil shading on Odie's gray body and the blue jersey to give them more depth, and leave the background white.
