Popcorn Time for Garfield and Odie
Coloring guide
Garfield stands there grinning with one arm stretched wide next to an oversized striped bucket labeled "POPCORN," piled high with fluffy kernels. Odie the dog is beside him holding a tiny popcorn cup of his own, looking down at it with floppy ears and wide eyes and no tongue showing this time. A few loose kernels have dropped near the bottom of the page and a couple more float by the rim of the bucket. The scene has no background, so it's easy to focus on the characters and their snack. Garfield's tabby stripes and the bucket's vertical stripes are good practice for careful pencil strokes. Red and white stripes on the bucket, buttery yellow popcorn and classic orange for Garfield would be a tasty mix. Print this free page for kids and coloring fans of any age. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color Garfield's head, body, legs and paws with tangerine orange, leaving his eyes and the light patch on his paw white.
- 2Fill Odie's face, body, legs and feet with pale yellow, then color his long ears warm brown.
- 3Color the popcorn heaped above the bucket and the small cup of popcorn in his paw with buttery cream, leaving the gaps and rim edges white.
- 4Color the top band of the bucket and the stripes on its lower part bright red, and use coral red for the letter P and the stripes near the bottom; keep the middle label band and the white stripes white with the letter O in light gray.
- 5Optional: add a little soft pink to Garfield's nose and a slightly darker orange shadow along his body for depth.
