Toothbrush Time for Garfield at the Sink
Coloring guide
Sleepy-eyed Garfield is at the bathroom sink, brushing his teeth and watching himself in the wall mirror. Foamy toothpaste is smeared around his mouth and dripping off his chin. He wears a short-sleeved shirt and striped shorts, and his fur sticks up in messy tufts. Kids can hunt for lots of little details: a squeezed tube of toothpaste hanging off the sink edge, a faucet with pipes below, puddles and toothpaste blobs on the floor, and a round brush lying near his feet. Big slippers sit at the bottom of the page. Minty blue foam, orange stripes on Garfield and soft gray for the sink make a good start. Download the free PDF for kids and coloring fans of all ages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: fill Garfield's body, head, tail, both slippers and the hanging arm with orange, leaving the eye and foam spots white.
- 2Use medium blue for his pajama shirt, pants and the sleeves, and the rug under him.
- 3Color the sink, the mirror frame edge and the sink side in light blue, and the mirror glass and its reflection in pale blue.
- 4Fill the faucet, drain pipe and pipe joints with gray, and add the toothbrush and its handle in bright blue.
- 5Add light yellow to the nose and the tip of the muzzle, and color the cheek and snout details in orange.
- 6Optional: add black to the outlines and fur lines last, and leave the foam, eyes and puddles white for a bright finish.
