Lasso Twirling Cowboy Garfield
Coloring guide
In this free printable, Garfield strikes a laid-back cowboy pose, twirling a rope lasso over his head with one paw and holding the coiled rest of the rope in the other. He wears a wide-brimmed cowboy hat with a flower-like decoration on top, a neckerchief around his neck, and a spur on his boot. Half-closed eyes and a smug smile match his usual sleepy attitude. A wooden rail fence stands behind him with a tall post on the right and a few grass tufts at its base. Two little birds sit close together on the top rail, and a third perches on the post with its beak open as if singing. Classic orange fur with dark stripes, and a bright red or blue bandana, will stand out nicely. Thick, clear outlines suit beginners with crayons and markers. Add this to your Garfield coloring page collection, alongside Kitten and Pusheen.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: color the cat's head, arms, hands, tail and feet with golden orange, leaving the eye whites, the teeth and the lighter arm highlight white.
- 2Fill the wooden fence rails and the tall post with wood brown, then add the darker brown on the hat crown, hat brim and the front paw.
- 3Color the cowboy's vest and shirt in dark brown and warm tan, and make the red bandana with bright red.
- 4Paint the two birds in sky blue and royal blue, leaving the small cream belly on the bird at the left.
- 5Add the blue jeans and the rope shine in royal blue and pale yellow, then use soft pink for the nose and pale yellow for the muzzle.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the hat brim and along the fence posts to make them look more rounded.
