A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color Garfield's body, legs and tail tip in tangerine orange, leaving the eyes and the background white.
- 2Fill Pooky the teddy bear's head and body with golden yellow, then add the soft pink inner ears and foot pads.
- 3Color Garfield's paws and arms in light orange, and use golden yellow for the lower leg and the bear's ears.
- 4Add the bubblegum pink tongue and the pale yellow small paw near the bear's head.
- 5Finish with the darker orange stripes on Garfield's head, ears and back, keeping the closed eyes and cheeks white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading in the folds of the arms and the bear's body with a slightly deeper orange for depth.
