Garfield Skiing Downhill, Skis Splayed Wide
Coloring guide
Garfield the cat is caught mid-slide on long skis, arms thrown up and a pole in each mitten. His skis point wildly apart, which makes it look like a wobbly, exciting moment on the slope. He has big ski goggles pushed across his forehead and a huge toothy grin. He's also dressed in a striped sweater with cuffs, ski pants with a belt, and boots clipped into the bindings, and his tail curls out between the skis. The background is empty, so little ones can draw their own snowy hill. Wide skis and chunky poles are easy to color for younger kids, and the sleeve stripes keep older kids busy. Blue goggles and a red sweater would make him pop against the white page. Print it free for a screen-free activity at home. Love this Garfield coloring page? - 1Start with the two long skis, the lower body and both legs in sky blue, leaving the small gap between the legs white.
- 2Fill the boots and the lower left foot in leaf green.
- 3Color both arm sleeves and the lower sleeve bands in brick red, then add the jacket collar in navy blue.
- 4Use golden yellow for both gloves, the yellow strap and the small belt tab, and royal blue for the two pole handles.
- 5Color the goggle lens light aqua, the goggle frame tangerine orange, the nose soft pink, and the hair and fur patches charcoal gray, keeping the teeth and pole basket white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker blue along the edges of the skis and body for depth.
