Hands-on-Hips Genie Girl, Shimmer and Shine Ponytail Page
Coloring guide
This smiling little genie stands with both hands on her hips, looking confident and ready for some crayon color. Her hair is swept into a very tall, flowing ponytail, and the long lines in it are fun to fill in. She has a jeweled headband with a gem on her forehead, a small vest with decorative trim, a belted waist and puffy harem pants with scalloped edges. Her shoes have curled, pointed toes. It's a Shimmer and Shine page with no background, so kids can give all their attention to her and her details. Try turquoise or teal on the outfit, bright pink or purple on the ponytail and gold or silver on the headband gems. Download and print it free for a screen-free activity at home. Kids who like Shimmer and Shine coloring pages usually enjoy Octonauts and Big Hero 6 too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face and neck in peach, leaving the eye whites and the small teeth line white.
- 2Color the big ponytail sweep and its curled tip in lavender purple, leaving the thin white highlight stripes running along the hair.
- 3Fill the hair around the headband and top of the head with lavender purple, then add deep plum and charcoal gray in the darker shadow spots near the crown.
- 4Color the harem pants in dusty mauve brown and add the mustard yellow waist sash in the middle of the outfit.
- 5Fill the chest armor with hot pink and color the arm sleeves and hands in slate teal and medium gray, keeping the metal trim white.
- 6Optional: Add olive brown to the eyebrow and a little medium gray under the pants for depth, then leave the background white.
