Bubbles and Sunflowers Printable For Girls
Coloring guide
With a big bow in her hair, a little girl puckers her lips and blows soap bubbles through a wand, holding a small bubble bottle in her other hand. Her puffy short-sleeved dress has a round collar, and she wears socks and Mary Jane shoes. Bubbles of different sizes float up toward the top corner of the page. Two tall sunflowers with big leaves grow on either side of her, tufts of grass sit at her feet, and in the lower right corner a watering can with a small flower on it rests on the ground. The large open shapes in the dress, petals and bubbles are easy for small hands, while the sunflower centers and leaves give older kids more detail. Bright yellow petals with brown centers look great, and a soft light-blue tint will keep the bubbles see-through. Download it as a free PDF for a classroom project or weekend craft. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the dress and skirt in sky blue, coloring the whole dress body and the skirt, and leave the collar white.
- 2Fill the girl's face, arms, legs and forehead in peach skin, then color the hand holding the bubble wand the same way.
- 3Color the hair and the hair bow in chestnut brown and red, then add the bow in red.
- 4Paint both sunflowers in golden yellow, leaving their centers and the flower dots white, and color all the leaves in grass green.
- 5Color the bubbles in light blue, keeping their shiny highlights white, and fill the bottle and watering can in baby pink.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading to the shoes and the edge of the dress for depth. Keep the socks, shoes highlights and background white.
