Girl Building a Sandcastle at the Beach

A smiling girl with wavy hair and a wide-brimmed hat decorated with a flower stands behind a sandcastle she has built, resting one hand on its tall wall. She wears a striped swimsuit with flower patches. The castle has a center tower with a flag, three small square windows, a doorway, and two shorter side towers that each hold a flag. On the right, her other hand reaches into a sand bucket with a small shovel sticking out. A starfish lies in the sand in the bottom corner, and a sun peeks out behind puffy clouds over the water. This printable page gives kids plenty of different textures to think about. Try tan and yellow crayons for the sand, then use bright colors for the flags and swimsuit flowers. It also works well for a talk about what you need for a day at the beach.
