Girl Hockey Player with Backward Cap and Skates

A smiling girl in a backward baseball cap stands in a relaxed pose with a hockey stick resting across her shoulders. One gloved hand grips the stick near the bottom, and a small bandage sits on her cheek. Her long ponytail curls out behind her. She wears a loose jersey, dark shorts, elbow and knee pads, and a pair of big laced hockey skates with visible blades. A large circle sits behind her, and a dark oval shadow is drawn under her feet. The thick outlines and roomy sections make this easy for kids to color with markers or crayons. Try giving her a team look by choosing two matching colors for the jersey, cap, and pads, then use a bright shade for the circle behind her. The printable page also works well for talking about hockey gear and why each piece matters.
