Sun Hat Girl Picking Strawberries in the Field
Coloring guide
Kneeling in a strawberry patch, a smiling girl in a wide-brimmed sun hat with a bow reaches out to pick a ripe berry. She's dressed in overalls with a front pocket over a short-sleeved shirt, and her other hand holds a woven basket that's already full of strawberries. Leafy plants with blossoms and plump hanging berries surround her, and neat rows stretch back to a distant line of trees and puffy clouds. Big leaves, flowers and berries mean plenty of shapes to color, from large areas to tiny details. A sunny yellow hat, red berries and a few shades of green for the leaves will help the fruit stand out. Print the free PDF and maybe keep a few extra copies handy. This fits right in with our Strawberry coloring pages — see also Hearts and Cute.

- 3Color the straw hat crown and top with pale yellow, then fill the brim and hair with honey orange and the hat band and bow with hot pink.
- 4Color the overalls, including the bib, pocket, and legs, with denim blue, and the shirt and sleeves with soft pink.
- 5Fill the basket with light tan, then color all the leaves with leaf green and the darkest leaves with forest green.
- 6Color the strawberries strawberry red and the flower centers white. Optional: Add caramel shadows on the hair and a few darker strokes on the leaves for depth.
