Gentle Baby Dragon Friend, Ever After High Coloring Sheet
Coloring guide
This sweet scene shows a smiling girl with short wavy hair kneeling on the ground, one hand resting gently on a baby dragon's head. The dragon sits close beside her. It has big round ears, wide sparkling eyes, an open happy mouth, small bat-like wings and a curled tail with scalloped spikes. She wears a short-sleeved top with a bow tied at the waist and a knee-length skirt, and she grins warmly down at her scaly buddy. Three puffy clouds float above. Thick, clear outlines are friendly for small hands, and the plain background leaves lots of room to get creative. Soft purple or mint green on the wings and tail will make the little dragon pop against the girl's outfit. Grab this free printable for a calm, creative moment. - royal blue
- chestnut brown
- pale blue
- lemon yellow
- golden yellow
- coral pink
- caramel brown
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the girl's skin: fill her face, neck, arms, hands, legs and knees with peach, leaving the eye whites white.
- 2Color the girl's dress, sleeves and skirt in royal blue, including the lap area where her dress meets the ground.
- 3Fill the dragon's whole body, head, tail and paws with grass green, keeping the eye whites, eye shine and back spikes white.
- 4Color the girl's hair in chestnut brown, using caramel brown on the left side for a little variety.
- 5Add lemon yellow to the dragon's wings, ear and horn, then use golden yellow for the sash and bow and coral pink for the dragon's tongue.
- 6Paint both clouds pale blue and leave the background white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along one side of the dress and hair for depth.
