A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big green areas: color the bushes, grass and leaves in grass green, and add forest green to the darkest leaves at the bottom and sides.
- 2Color the girl's hair and the watering can: use chestnut brown for the hair and sky blue for the watering can.
- 3Fill the dress and sleeves with golden yellow, and the face, arms and hands with light peach, leaving the collar white.
- 4Paint the fence posts with light tan and the flower petals in bright pink, lavender purple and blush pink, leaving the daisy petals white.
- 5Add the ladybug in bright red with dark brown on its shell, and color the snail in light peach with a soft tan shell.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the hair and leaves to make the drawing pop.
