Granny Smith Pony on a Rocking Chair

An older pony with a swept-up striped hairdo and a few loose curls sits on a wooden rocking chair, smiling with half-closed, relaxed eyes. Fine wrinkle lines show on her face. Around her neck is a scalloped collar covered in little apples, with a knotted kerchief hanging down the front. On her hip is a pie-style cutie mark with a crimped crust edge. The chair has a spindle back, a round seat, a striped cushion behind her, a ruffled cloth draped over the top rail, and long curved rockers underneath. This free printable gives kids plenty to work with. Try red, green and yellow for the apples, then pick a soft color for the cushion and a warm wood tone for the chair. It also works well for a lesson about grandparents or cozy home life.
