Coloring guide

A single large shark is drawn in side view, angled upward with its nose pointing to the top left. The mouth is open just enough to show a row of small, jagged triangle teeth along the lower jaw. You can see one round eye near the front, a small nostril on the snout, and five curved gill slits behind the head. The shark has a tall triangular dorsal fin on its back, a pectoral fin below the body, a long pointed fin sweeping down and back, smaller fins near the tail, and a big crescent tail on the right. The lines are clean and the body shapes are large, so it works well for younger kids using crayons. Try shading the top of the shark in gray or blue and leaving the belly lighter, which is a nice way to talk about how real sharks are colored. A free printable like this also fits well into an ocean animal lesson.
