A small alien creeps forward in a low crouch, one long-fingered hand stretched out in front and the other hanging down at its side. The head is wide and triangular with two large round eyes set in rings, a thick band between them, and half-closed eyelids that give it a sleepy, curious look. The mouth is small and slightly open. It wears a snug suit with a zipper line running down the middle of the chest, plus a stripe band near each wrist. Its legs are bent, and its feet are flat with a few toes. This looks like Grey Matter from Ben 10. The big open areas on the body and the circles in the eyes are easy to fill in. Try bright greens or grays on the skin, then use two or three shades in the eye rings to make them stand out. The thick outlines work well for crayons and younger kids, and you can print it free for a quiet afternoon activity.
